Zero Motivation: BIFF

“Talya Lavie’s brilliant debut … is ‘M*A*S*H’ meets ‘Orange is the New Black’.” — Variety

In Israel, military service is mandatory. Rama dreams of a significant military career, but she is in charge of a platoon of unskilled, sullen female soldiers who spend their days racking up records on “Minesweeper,” singing pop songs and jousting with office supplies. Rama’s ambitions for promotion are bleak. Pencil pushers in the human resources office inside a big army base, these soldiers see no enemy in sight, but sometimes dark, absurd and often hilarious events twist their way into this woebegone office space … and tensions escalate wildly. Subtitled.
